Getting lost

Today i went on a long run. Decided not to go on the usual path.
Got up at 5am, left room @ 5:45am, direction to go : Unknown.
Almost got lost in the messy roads and fate got me back to a known road to my usual path.
It really feels amazing to see new things and especially the way people(street dogs too) look at you because rarely anybody runs in my place on the roads.
Did 1Hr and covered above 10Km.

hey Guru,

hows it going.. i just read your comment on my blog.. the target that u have set for yourself for the half marathon is pretty steep. especially when you have never run such a long distance before.. i would suggest keep a first realistic target like 2 hrs and then bring it down to 1.45..if u can touch that at your first attempt then hats off to you. not trying to discourage you here but keeping this in mind will avoid dissapointments while u prepare. i talk from my experience as well as talks that i have had with serious runners. you and me are just new to this game. keep running :)

hi,
This Sunday i completed the Bangalore 10K in 57 min. I think if i keep going on my training i can go for my goal for which i have another 7 months left and a trial Delhi half-marathon :)

thats great, a pretty good time.. but there is a whole lot of diff in running a 10k and a 21k. anyways keep up the good work. to give u an update on my running - every alternate day i am running 3 miles (approx 5km) and trying to consistently achieve a timing of under 30 mins.
cheers!
